“Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” Psalm 82:4, KJV. This command defines where I stand on the Ukraine–Russia conflict. This Scripture is what the Russian Federation is doing – saving thousands (or more) from the wicked.

Most Americans dismiss such rhetoric; they neither regard the United States as an empire much less one of lies. Yet, this phrase is perhaps the most accurate descriptor of our nation ever spoken by a world leader.
